MIA is the Mediolanum Investment Academy which is a 24-month long paid programme built for those who are interested in a career in asset management. As part of the programme you will have the opportunity to develop your skills by working alongside experienced investment professionals in an organisation where more than €60 billion is actively managed.

Over the course of 24 months you will get the opportunity to gain broad experience across different areas of Investment within a leading Asset Manager in Dublin.
You will work across our Investment Performance team during the programme and also get the chance to take part in different projects. While our operations have grown, the team is still at a size where you will have the chance to get to know each different department and work alongside experienced investment professionals. You will develop an understanding of the different areas of investment and asset classes giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and grow your career along the way.
You will also work alongside key investment decision makers and receive mentoring and support throughout the programme and during your time at Mediolanum as we support your development and encourage your success.

We’re looking for 5 outstanding candidates.
You could be one of them if you have:
• A Bachelors (Hons) Degree in a relative field such as finance, science, economics, mathematics.
• A strong interest in investment markets and a high degree of proactivity.
• Ability to understand and communicate the key risks stemming from investment strategies.
• Numeracy and accuracy as a pre-requisite as is the ability to work to deadlines in a team based environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (both oral and written).
• Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct and Style Analytics is an advantage.
• CFA Qualified or in the process of obtaining CFA is highly advantageous.
• Masters/ PHD qualifications are a distinct advantage.
At the end of each rotation, MIA participants are evaluated on their projects, teamwork, growth, and overall performance by their rotation managers. Those who excel throughout the programme will be offered a permanent position within the Investment Team, ideally in their preferred area of Investment.
