*The next intake for the Mediolanum Investment Academy will be September 2024*

What is MIA?

MIA is the Mediolanum Investment Academy. It is an 18-month long paid programme for people who want to work in asset management. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills by working alongside decision-makers where €50 billion is actively managed.

We don’t call it a graduate programme, because it’s much more than that. Over 18 months you will get the kind of hands-on experience of asset management that you don’t get during college. And you’ll get paid while you’re learning.

You will be doing the real work. You’ll work alongside decision makers, helping to inform their decisions. Of course, there will be mentoring and supervision because we want to support your development. But you also get the chance to prove yourself as one of the team. You’ll work on assignments, research reports and other projects

Over your 18 months with us, you’ll get opportunities to rotate between different areas and projects. While our operations have grown, we’re still small enough that you’ll have the chance to get to know each different department and key people. You’ll understand what different roles in asset management are, so you’ll know where your career will thrive. You’ll be held to the same performance appraisal standards as everyone at Mediolanum. Continuous assessment of your work each month will keep you on track with your career goals. And because this is real work and we value your help, you will get a very competitive salary.

This is the stepping stone to your future career in asset management. It may be intense at times, but it will be worth it. If you’re ambitious, excited about a career in investment and willing to learn don’t miss this opportunity.
